baseball fallThe Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Vicksburg is announcing that Fall Baseball Registration will begin August 7, 2017 and run through September 15, 2017. Cost per player is $25.00.

Age Groups will be 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-15.

Registration forms can be picked up at the Offices of Parks and Recreation at 100 Army-Navy Drive and 601 Sports (formally Hobies Sports). Coaches will be needed to coach these teams for fall baseball. For additional information call Joseph Graves at 601-634-4514 or Jay Harper at (601)801-3481.

The Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Vicksburg is announcing that Adult Co-Ed Softball Registration will begin August 1, 2017 and run through September 15, 2017. Cost per team is $175.00 plus additional cost of $10.00 per player from the county and a $20.00 additional cost for players from Sharkey-Issaquena and Claiborne counties.

There will be a mandatory coshes meeting on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at the Offices of Parks and Recreation at 100 Army-Navy Drive.

Vicksburg City Pool will hold registration for the 2017 American Red Cross Learn to Swim program Wednesday May 17 through Friday, May 19 from 10 am – 1 p.m. and Saturday, May 20 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at City Pool, 900 Lee Street.

Students from 3 years of age through senior citizen are encouraged to register and participate in a two week summer swim session. Cost is $12 per student per session.

Vicksburg City Pool will open for Summer 2017 on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29 at 1 p.m.

Fees are:

Children 12 and under: $2.00

Adults: $4.00

Individual Summer Pass: $60.00

Family Summer Pass: $120.00

Adult Softball registration will begin March 2, 2016 and run through April 15, 2016.  Registration Packets can be picked up at the Parks and recreation offices at 100 Army-Navy Drive from 8:00am till 5:00pm Monday through Friday.  Cost per team is $175.00 with an additional cost of $10.00 for non-city residents and a $20.00 fee for residents of Sharkey - Issaquena and Claiborne Counties.  A Mandatory Coaches meeting will be held on Wednesday April 6, 2016 at 6:30pm at the Parks and Recreation offices.  All teams must have a representative at this meeting.  For more information call Joseph Graves at 601-4514.
