The Legal Department serves as in-house counsel for The Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Vicksburg, advising the Board in legal matters pertaining to the City, including, but not limited to, contracts, litigation, real estate matters, public records, and personnel issues. Additionally, the Legal Department prosecutes all traffic and criminal misdemeanors in the City of Vicksburg Municipal Court as well as criminal appeals to the County Court of Warren County.
