The Water and Gas Administration Office is a public utility company that delivers and sells natural gas, water, sewer and garbage services to residential and business customers. We provide support for more than 10,000 utility accounts and offer a full service collection office. Our drive-thru window and office hours are from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm for your convenience.

Go Green - Sign Up For Paperless Billing

The Vicksburg Water and Gas office is proud to announce our new Paperless Billing service. Customers who would prefer not to receive their utility bills in the mail, but would rather get an email notification instead, can sign up to stop receiving paper bills.

Pay Your Bill Online

The Vicksburg Water and Gas office now offers Online Bill Payment. You can pay your bill, view billing and payment history and even sign up for automatic bill payment. With automatic bill payments you can avoid penalties and late fees by having our online system pay your bill on the due date each month. There is a $1.00 convenience fee for using the online payments. *NOTE* This fee is not assessed by the municipality. This fee covers the cost of credit card fees, maintaining the web site and the technical and payment interface with the municipality.

Please note that our online bill pay system requires a separate login/password combination. If you use our auto bill pay feature and are currently a bank draft customer, please call our office to have the draft removed from your account. Call our office at 601-636-3414 for more information.

Boil Water Guide

The Vicksburg Water Treatment Plant takes pride in providing a safe water supply for its customers. Should there ever be a question as to the safety of this supply, the City of Vicksburg issues boil water alerts. The Bureau of Public Water Supply, in recognition of Vicksburg's longstanding record of compliance, defers this responsibility to local officials.

So, you might ask, what would necessitate the issuance of a boil water alert? Alerts are issued when the following occurs:

• The water system loses pressure on all or part of the system; or
• The system is compromised and there is the possibility that all or part of the water system can or will become contaminated.

Boil Water Notices

Boil Water Alert - Highway 61 North Area - July 24, 2017 * * Lifted * *

There is a water outage in the area of Kitty Bingham Drive, Debrah Drive, and Hwy 61 North between Circle K and UPS on both sides of highway. Repairs should be completed by early evening. When water is restored there will be a boil water advisory in the area. ** CANCELED **

The boil water notice has been lifted for the city of Vicksburg. It is no longer necessary to boil water before concumption.
