A building permit is required prior to construction of all above ground and in-ground swimming pools, hot tubs and similar structures that are greater than 24 inches deep and exceeds 5,000 gallons of water that are built in the City of Vicksburg. Once a complete set of plans for the construction is approved by the City of Vicksburg Building & Inspection Department and the applicant pays all permit fees, the permit will be issued.
