The homeowners of some areas of the city have formed neighborhood associations for the purpose of finding solutions to common concerns, and to pool their resources to make their neighborhoods a better place to live. Neighborhood associations provide individual citizens a collective voice with which to discuss issues relating to government agencies and private businesses which impact their specific community. If you are interested in forming a neighborhood association or would like to know how the City of Vicksburg can serve your neighborhood association contact the City of Vicksburg's Building and Inspections Department located at 819 South St., Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm or call them at (601) 634-4528. |
