 The Mayor and Alderman of the City of Vicksburg, the Mississippi Leadership Council on Aging, Vicksburg Triad and the Vicksburg Police Department in a joint partnership are sponsoring "The Vicksburg Safelight Program". The program is a crime prevention program for the elderly. Rechargeable lanterns will be given away on a first come first serve basis, while supplies last, to up to sixty-five seniors age 60 and up.
