| It shall be unlawful for any compulsory school age child to remain in or upon any public street, sidewalk, highway, park, vacant lot or other public place within the City during the following period: 8:45 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, during the school term in which a compulsory school age child is to be enrolled in a public or private legitimate nonpublic school, as required by the Mississippi Compulsory School Attendance Law (section 37-13-91). |
