Chief Walter Armstrong held a press conference in the Municipal Courtroom to announce the arrest of two suspects in the house burglary and rape of a disabled person on Drummond Street. Eddie Harris and Charles Harris, cousins,  were both detained December 15, 2011 and officially charged with the crime December 19, 2011. "This sort of violent crime will not be tolerated in Vicksburg" said Armstrong. As part of the ongoing investigation, Chief Armstrong, has asked the citizens of Vicksburg to help in recovering a 32" Visio television that was taken during the burglary. The men are being held in separate jails. Eddie Harris is in the Warren County Jail and Charles Harris in Issaquena. Both are set for hearings Wednesday in municipal court, Armstrong said. Chief Armstrong credited his staff, Crime Stoppers and the citizens of Vicksburg with making this arrest possible.
