We are committed to providing you with information because informed customers are our best allies. Our water source is from wells drawing from the MS River Alluvial Aquifer.
Vicksburg, MS -- The City of Vicksburg is hosting its first annual Emerging Business Summit (EBS) with guest speaker Congressman Bennie Thompson on June 13, 2015, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Vicksburg City Auditorium, 901 Monroe St, Vicksburg, MS 39183.
This event is free and open to all who want to learn more about minority business, business development, procurement, recruitment and retention, entrepreneurship and good business practices.
This event is in conjunction with Live Work Play Downtown Vicksburg, the City of Jackson, Mississippi Development Authority and Plan B Financial Solutions.
Although it's a FREE event you must register to attend.

The Vicksburg Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor a free summer camp at the Jackson Street Center for children ages 6-10. Camp registration ends May 27, 2015. The camp begins June 1, 2015, and runs through July 24, 2015. The camp provides arts and crafts, sports activities and guest speakers during the school summer break.
Vicksburg Fire Department News
This week, May 17-23, is designated as National EMS Week and is set aside to honor emergency medical personnel throughout the country. We want to thank all emergency medical personnel who work for the Vicksburg Fire Department Ambulance Service and serve the citizens of Vicksburg and Warren County.
Three employees recently retired from the Vicksburg Fire Department. Fire Investigator/Inspector Leslie Sanders, Captain Glen Jones, and Captain Samuel D. Smith Jr. served the department for many years. We thank each of them for their dedicated service.
May 25: Memorial Day Parade
The Memorial Day Parade of Veterans will travel north along Washington Street from Belmont to Jackson streets beginning at 10:00 am. The Memorial Service begins at 11:00 am at the Vicksburg City Auditorium, 901 Monroe Street. The Wreath Laying Ceremony will be at 1:00 pm in the National Cemetery with a motorcade to the cemetery by way of Fort Hill Drive. For more information, contact Willie Glasper at 601-634-0163.
