|Utility Billing and Payments|

The City of Vicksburg Water and Gas Administration is responsible for the billing of the city's utilities of water, sewer and gas, as well as, the billing of solid waste (garbage sanitation) collection services to the residents and businesses of the City of Vicksburg. Citizens who use City of Vicksburg utilities receive a bill for service approximately every 25-30 days. Included on each bill is the meter number, billing period, utility consumption during the period, the amount due for services, the payment due date and the cutoff date.
Utility bills may be paid by mail or paid in person at 2111 Drummond Street during regular business hours. Payments after hours can be made at the drop box located on the south side of the building.
If you believe the Water & Gas department has made an error in your bill or if you have a dispute about your obligation to pay the bill, you may arrange a meeting with a representative to solve the problem. Until the situation is resolved, you must still pay your bill by the due date printed. Failure to pay your bill by this date for any reason may result in the disconnection of your utility service.
If you will not be able to pay by the due date noted on your bill, and you have a satisfactory payment history, you can talk to a representative about receiving a short term extension. If you would like to know more about utility service billing and payment, or if you need to speak to City of Vicksburg Water and Gas Administration personnel, contact the office located at 2111 Drummond Street, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, or call (601)636-3414.
