The City of Vicksburg's Cedar Hill Cemetery searchable tombstone records available on the City's website are as compiled in 1985 by Walter and Annie Salassi and friends. See the records description on the city's web site at ww.vicksburg.org/cemetery/tombstone records. The records are from their manuscript but may be missing information or contain typos, etc. for correction. As conveyed to the city by friends and heirs, the Salassis' hoped errors would be corrected .

*Please keep in mind early ancestry names may have been spelled differently from the current lineage family name. The City's intent is to keep the integrity of the tombstone records as intended by the Salassis' field work and manuscript books; therefore, only corrections to typos and noted missing information due to the illegibility of damaged stones, etc. may be submitted for correction.
